It is $30,000 and sitting in some low-risk funds. He is 66 years old, lives in a rent-controlled apartment and doesn?t need the money for another 5 years or so.
Should he A) leave it in the 401K,
B) roll it over into an IRA
C) cash it out and put it into a long-term CD
or D) do somthing else with it?
Any advice will be helpful.
